Hello!

Hi, I’m Yemisi Bokinni, a medical doctor with degrees in Medicine and Human Genetics from King’s College London, and a health and science storyteller working across print, audio, and short-form film.

I’m a 2025 UN Foundation Press Fellow, and a recipient of the 2025 Wellcome Collection Non-Fiction Awards, where I am currently developing my debut narrative non-fiction book, Finding Medicine.

As a health and science journalist, I contribute primarily to The BMJ (British Medical Journal) and Nature Africa, where I am published in both English and French.

My reporting has been recognised for its depth, and real-world impact.
